Esplanade Walk and Parks
A great way to start your day is a walk along the coastal esplanade which will lead you around the Cronulla coast and past many beautiful parks which are perfect for picnics.
Restaurants, Cafes & Shopping
If you fancy a spot of shopping, the Cronulla Motor Inn is a 5 minute walk from Cronulla's popular shopping strip with many shops, restaurants and cafes. There is also a Westfield Shopping Mall with 475 specialty shops, 10 minutes drive away.
Cronulla Cinemas
Located on the main street is Cronulla Cinemas, playing all the latest movies and is only a walk away from the Cronulla Motor Inn.
Royal National Park
Established in 1879, Royal National Park is the world's second oldest national park - after Yellowstone in the USA. Only 10 km from Cronulla Motor Inn by car or a 30min ferry ride on the Cronulla Ferry, the Royal National Park packs incredible natural diversity into a relatively small area. It offers riverside picnics, great surf beaches, clifftop heathland walks, rainforest cycle tracks, and much more.
Bundeena/Cronulla Ferry
Enjoy the short scenic cruise from Cronulla to Bundeena, gateway to the Royal National Park aboard the Cronulla Ferry. Bundeena itself is unique in that it is a small community within the Royal National Park, providing an ideal starting point for a fascinating days bush walking and picnicking. Discover the Aboriginal carvings on Jibbon Point, take a relaxing stroll on the idyllic sandy beaches or visit one of the numerous fishing spots along the coast. Passengers may also like to lunch at the R.S.L Club or relax at one of the local cafes in Bundeena or take a scenic cruise around the Port Hacking River.
Whale Watching
Cronulla Motor Inn is close to Kurnell (the first fleets' landing spot) a great place in winter to go whale watching, alternatively there are many charter boats that go out whale watching. (This activity is only available in the winter months).
Surf Lessons
If you are feeling energetic and are interested in learning to surf,
Cronulla Motor Inn can organise surf lessons from our popular local surf school, it's a great day out.
Scuba Diving (ShipRock Dive)
If you would like to go for a scuba dive, a local Padi fully certified dive shop does organised dives for the already certified and scuba diving lessons for the novice wanting to learn this superb sport.
Deep Sea Fishing Charters
We have access to some of Sydney's best water ways, so a deep sea fishing charter is always an enjoyable day out. Cronulla Motor Inn has a BBQ by the pool so you can catch and cook up your dinner.
Boat Hire
If it's a nice day why not hire your own boat and explore the amazing Port Hacking River, where you can swim, fish, snorkel and picnic.
Night Life
Cronulla has many night time venues for a quiet drink or a full on party, what ever takes your fancy. One of our favourite places is the live music venue, The Brass Monkey, always a great mix of talent in a friendly environment.

A great night out, let the sharkies complimentary bus pick you up and drop you home.
